Quote of the Day

As part of a listening tour, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan is coming to New Jersey Friday. He will visit North Star Academy with Corzine who no doubt will brag about how well the charter school does. I can’t help but think about the premiere last Saturday of Bob Bowdon’s documentary “The Cartel” that shows how Corzine’s education commissioner, Lucille Davy, does as much as she can to discourage charter schools because the teachers union she gets her marching orders from and kowtows to doesn’t like the competition. Davy will come along for the ride Friday.
