Quote of the Day

You may recall the lunacy at the Freehold Regional High School District. That’s where teachers and administrators got worthless diplomas then used them to get raises. Then it tried to give its superintendent, holder of a bogus degree, a year-long no-show job. Now comes the district’s 2010-11 budget which would raise local taxes in six of the eight towns involved by 7.8 percent over last year’s. That would bring the budget from $180 million to almost $188 million. If the voters stand for this, they have mush for brains. If they don’t clean out the school board they deserve what they get.
