Quote of the Day

If the teachers union was smart, they would have accepted the wage freeze and the 1.5% health insurance premium, and then railed against Christie’s aid cuts. Instead, they gave the governor an opponent and someone else for the public to focus their anger on. The union’s major miscalculation is that while we’d all love to get 4% raises and free medical care, for those who work in the private sector, such dreams exist only on Fantasy Island. And unfortunately for the teachers union, Christie is evacuating the island, and Tatoo just spotted the last plane that’s coming ashore.
