Legislative Committee Update

Capital Quickies has a scorecard on the reorganization of the State Assembly. Regarding the Education Committee, James Beach from Cherry Hill replaces Jim Whelan and Michael Doherty replaces Thomas Kean Jr. Shirley Turner will be Vice Chair.

Doherty is a champion of the nonsensical Fair School Funding Act, which would allot $7,481 per pupil regardless of need. Dr. Bruce Baker has a cogent explanation of its inanity.
