NJ DOE Approves 8 New Charter Schools

The NJ Department of Education just announced that it has approved eight new charter applications. There were 42 applications in this round. The ones that made the final cut are Charter School for Global Leadership, Hope Community Charter, and City Invincible Charter School in Camden; COMPASS Academy Charter School in Millville, Pittsgrove, and Vineland; Jersey City Global Charter in Jersey City; Newark Prep Charter School and Paulo Freire Charter School in Newark; and Trenton Prep Charter School in Trenton.
