Correction of the Day

Mike Drewniak, Gov. Christie’s chief spokesperson, has been largely unavailable to the press since the Bridgegate imbroglio. On Sunday the Star Ledger ran a piece entitled, “After Bridge Scandal, Chris Christie’s Fiery Spokesman Recedes to the Shadows.” The article now concludes with this correction:

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated Drewniak referred to the Port Authority’s executive director as a “piece of crap.” While Drewniak did call him a “piece of excrement,” it was David Wildstein who referred to the executive director as a “piece of crap.”
