Today John Bury, who pens the blog BuryPensions, lists the 69 public employees in New Jersey who make over $250,000 a year, not including benefits. Seven of them are administrators in K-12 public schools. Bury also notes that there are 389,968 active participants in the state Retirement System, whose annual pensions come to $26.6 million.

Some on his 69-public employee list hold multiple jobs: Edwin Kerwin has seven, for a total annual salary of $380K, and Roy Riggitano has five, for a total annual salary of $317,000. Here are the seven K-12 school staff members and their salaries. Some of them lead county vocational “magnet” schools, which we reported on last week.
