UPDATE: On Saturday Ferrara said he will exit the race for Hamilton School Board.
There’s a new petition up (hat tip: Matt Friedman) casting aspersions on the New Jersey Department of Education’s relatively new Health and Physical Education Standards, much in the news given more explicit references to gender identity and sexual practices. This petition would be a ho-hum development in the state’s/country’s preoccupation with a small section of course content, except for this: Nicholas Ferrara, the author of the petition and the titular head of the “Ministry for Traditional Education,” is a raving anti-Semite Holocaust-denier who happens to be running for election to the Hamilton Board of Education in Mercer County.
You’ve got that right: “I’m ALL FOR executive of the maxist/communists jews” who are “satan fuckers.” Ferrara weeps for the “good-hearted kind individuals who got wrongfully wrapped up in Judism [sic]” but I guess we’re okay because this model of decency will be “judge, jury, and executioner.”
Oh, but that’s okay! Not all Jews are bad, just the ones who are “fucking pups,” “lucifereans masquerading as jews doing very evil things,” and (in what may be a reference to the mythical belief that Jews use Christian blood to make matzah during Passover) those who engage in “human sacrifice” and “blood-letting.”
Fine. Another raving idiot walks the streets demanding the death of all Jews while denying the Holocaust. But this time he’s in the next town over from me where my son has his Special Olympics cycling practices. Just don’t tell anyone my kid’s great-grandparents were Holocaust survivors and I’ll make sure he keeps his Christian blood snacks at home.
